Church Extension Fund is a unique ministry program that offers Lutheran Church-Canada members the opportunity to invest money, earn interest and help build churches, schools and other facilities for ministry.  Join thousands of Christians who are finding joy in placing some of their savings in Church Extension Fund investments.

The invested money is lent to congregations, Lutheran Schools and other institutions of Lutheran Church-Canada for the purchase of property, the construction of a new building or repairs, renovations and additions to existing buildings. Congregations, Schools or the institution repay the money to the fund. The money is then lent to another congregation, School or institution.

The money you invest in CEF is loaned to congregations and meanwhile earns a fair rate of interest for you. Interest is accrued daily and compounded annually on the anniversary date of the investment.  On investments over $25,000 you also have the option of having your interest paid to you monthly or annually.  Your savings help prepare you…
