Term Deposits
One-year to five-year Term Deposits are available with a minimum investment of $200. Rates for these investments are set at the time the investment is opened. Additions are not permitted. Funds may be withdrawn at maturity without penalty. The early withdrawal results in the interest being recalculated to the last completed term on the funds withdrawn. Partial withdrawals are allowed (providing a minimum balance of $200.00 remains). Interest is calculated daily and can be paid out monthly / annually or compounded annually on the anniversary and maturity date. Investment Statements and a T5 Statement of Investment Income (if over $50.00) are sent to the investor annually.
