How do we get started?
Is It Time for Your Congregation to Start a K.I.D.S. Program?
Financial experts tell us that the earlier a young person leads about financial matters, especially the importance of saving and stewardship; the more likely it is that these young people will practice good savings and stewardship habits when they grow up. That is just one of the benefits of starting a K.I.D.S. Savings Stamp Program at your church.
K.I.D.S. stands for Kids Into Discipleship and Stewardship. This program, allows children to purchase stamps that can be exchanged for investments in a CEF account upon completion of a stamp booklet.
Kids also learn the benefit of saving while getting involved in ministry. Activity books help keep kids involved and encourage them in their stewardship life.
Many young people and their families throughout the Alberta-British Columbia District are becoming aware of the ministry of Church Extension; learning biblical stewardship principles; and saving for the future by participating in the K.I.D.S. Savings Stamp Program.
Getting started in the program is easy. All materials (except stamps) are available at no charge from CEF. For more information about the K.I.D.S. Savings Stamp program, call the Alberta-British Columbia District Office at 1-800-474-0063 or email kids@lccabc.ca.
